We depart at noon for a 4-5 hour tour…don’t forget your cameras! Buckle up in our Polaris Ranger 1000XP Crew and let us chauffeur you for the off-road ride of a lifetime. Throughout the journey you’ll enjoy a variety of way points, we drop you off for lunch at the establishment of your choice at approximately 1pm. From there you’ll enjoy rest stops, look outs, historical buildings and modern day wonders. Watch out for icebergs! Destination Baccalieu will carry you through time and back again.
Baccalieu Island is a natural sea bird sanctuary. Keep your eyes peeled! The island is home to a variety of sea birds including puffins, gannets, turrs and kittiwakes. As we view the island from the trails and lookouts, keep your eye out for Humpback and Minke whales that feed in the area.
A stop at this historical heritage premises in Bay de Verde is a must. Explore and learn about the rich history of merchants and fisherman and the local fishing industry. With over 600 artifacts you get to go back in time and touch history.
The rock walls of Grates Cove were designated a national historic site in 1995. Constructed as garden borders in the 1700s, they sprawl out over an impressive 150 acres giving Grates Cove a unique and historical landscape.

Spend an hour trying your luck at one of our local ponds along our adventure. Rods and tackle will be provided.

Enjoy our local Skirwink Trail coastal hike. Guests will be dropped off at the Cooks Cove access point to start their hike, and picked up at the Old Perlican access point for convenient shuttle back to their vehicles.
The Readhead Cove trail is an easy flat walk to the tip of the sea cliffs with unobstructed views of Baccalieu Island. A must see on a clear day! The Ferry Gardens are enjoyed by kids of all ages.
The ATV tour continues to the top of the world! Over looking the Town of Old Perlican and Trinity Bay, you’ll be met with curiosity and beautiful panoramic views - a great group photo opportunity at the mysterious monument. Are you feeling brave?
Each Destination Baccalieu ATV Tours booking will include an Old Perlican-Bay de Verde T’railway sticker. The annual T’railway association sticker campaign raises money for ongoing trail maintenance and upgrades like bridges, culverts and rest areas to our beloved trail system. We all feel good knowing that your booking allows us to contribute to the T’railway fundraising campaign.
The safety of our clients is of the utmost importance to us. In accordance with provincial law, all tour guests will be required to wear a helmet and seatbelt during the ride. All helmets are provided before departure. Destination Baccalieu ATV Tours requires all clients to sign a waiver and participate in a brief safety discussion prior to departure.
